یومِ پیدائش - نامور شاعر اور خطیب - حمادِ اہلبیت
جنابِ سید محسن نقوی شہید
محسن نقوی کا اصل نام سید غلام عباس نقوی تھا اور وہ 5 مئی 1947ء کو محلہ سادات، ڈیرہ غازی خان میں پیدا ہوئے تھے۔ انہوں نے بہاؤ الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان سے اُردو میں ایم اے کیااور کم و بیش اسی زمانے میں ان کی شاعری اور ذاکری کا آغاز ہوا۔شامل ہے۔ 1994ء میں حکومت پاکستان نے انہیں صدارتی تمغہ برائے حسن کارکردگی عطا کیا تھا۔
15 جنوری 1996ء کو اردو کے ممتاز شاعر اور ذاکر اہل بیت محسن نقوی لاہور میں نامعلوم قاتلوں کی گولیوں کا نشانہ بن گئے۔ وہ ڈیرہ غازی خان میں آسودۂ خاک ہیں۔
